Chantale Delrue & Lorraine Biggs
An exhibition of large scale works on paper and installation that explores the artists concerns in relation to the Tasmanian forests. Lorraine Biggs works from a remote location in North East Tasmania creating large scale mixed media drawings based on an area of old growth forest from the Blue Tier region. Chantale Delrue uses an ancient and alchemical like process, extracting dye from bark, leaves and flowers of trees which are used to imbue her paper and textiles.
