A popular and high quality facility which provides access for both the residents of the Glebe area and visitors to the Queens Domain. The playground is located on Aberdeen Street and is in close proximity to the Domain Tennis Centre and TCA.

This refurbished Park has swings, a unique train bridge, a play train and a tricycle track. The park includes dedicated play areas for younger and older children.

Located beside the historic Cascade Brewery, the playground facilities in the Cascade Gardens are modern and offer and excellent play experience for children.
The site also has an electric BBQ and adjacent, public convenience facilities.
The playground located on the foreshore at Cornelian Bay is extremely popular and has been designed to offer easy accessibility.

Another small but popular facility located in Edge Avenue, Lenah Valley, offers a high quality play experience for neighborhood enjoyment.
Located in Dynnyrne, with entry off Fitzroy Crescent, Fitzroy Gardens offers a small playground under the shade of mature plane trees.
This is a particularly popular playground located in Carlton Street, Lenah Valley and has undergone a recent refurbishment which included the installation of a train.
This park, located on the corner of Hamilton and Browne Streets is home to the skate bowl and also contains electric BBQ and toilet facilities.
The site has a good quality playground, adjoined by an open space area which in turn links to the skate bowl.
There is a fully fenced playground for use at John Turnbull Park located off Creek Road, Lenah Valley.
The facilities are located adjacent to a sports ground, utilized extensively for junior athletics competitions. The playground is also in close proximity to public convenience facilities.
This area provides a flat site and good quality playground facilities. Located at picturesque Lower Sandy Bay, the facilities overlook the beach and River Derwent.
A range of play experiences are available at this location which also adjoins an open space suitable for play enjoyment.
This site has electric BBQ facilities nearby as well as a large enclosed shelter with a picnic facilities.
Note: The Lower Sandy Bay playground will not be available for public use from July 2009 until October 2009 whilst it is undergoing reconstruction. More details are available here.
The Mt Nelson playground adjoins the sports ground and is located in Nelson Road.
The site is a smaller neighborhood facility offering a robust play experience.
Electric BBQ’s and public convenience facilities are located near the playground, as is the Mt Nelson Oval, which has proven to be a popular spot for those wishing to walk the family dog.
This playground is located in the area adjoining the Mt Stuart Hall and is available to the public as well as being utilised by children attending the nearby childcare care service.
There is a large slide and unique climbing wall available for use at Mount Stuart Park located in Benjafield Terrace, Mt. Stuart.
The BBQ is located adjacent to a small sports field which is ideal for open play.

The site offers extensive view of the River Derwent and is set in an attractive neighborhood park.
Located in Cultural Park on the corner of Murray and Tasma Streets in North Hobart, the North Hobart Skate Park is one of the most significant skating facilities available in Tasmania. The site has a contemporary skate facility, available for use between the hours of 9.00 am and 8.00 pm each day.
The park also includes a new children’s playground, which offers modern play elements for enjoyment.
Public toilets are also available at this venue.
The Parliament Street facility has two components. One side of the park has a large slide offering a thrill, whilst the other side has a designated playground area.
This site located at Parliament Street, Sandy Bay adjoins a small sports ground and offers excellent family facilities.
Good quality public convenience facilities are provided at the site, as is electric BBQ facilities.
This very popular playground is located in the heart of historic Battery Point.
The facilities at this site follow the theme of a boat.

Located on the corner of Burnett and Argyle Streets, this playground contains a range of facilities including spring riders, skales swing and combination units. The playground is fenced and is adjoined by a family friendly park with open space enabling a range of ball games for family enjoyment.

There is a high quality playground available for use at South Hobart Park located on the corner of Darcy and Washington Streets in South Hobart.
The site also includes BBQ facilities and is located a short distance from public convenience facilities.
This small playground is located in the historic St Andrews Park in Church Street, Hobart. The facilities offer a secure play experience with spring riders and a combination unit. The playground adjoins the quiet and historic park, with its avenue of flowering apples and banks of golden bunny roses.
