Terms and Conditions for Membership of the Hobart Advantage Card

  1. Membership is open to residents and/or ratepayer's of Tasmania, 18 years and over upon completion of the application form.
  2. Benefits and offers provided through the Hobart Advantage Card program can only be redeemed upon presentation of the card within the stated timeframe of the offer made by the participating business.
  3. Benefits are not valid with any other concessional or discount offer made by the participating business.
  4. The Hobart Advantage Card is not transferable and remains the property of the Hobart City Council. The Hobart City Council reserves the right to terminate or suspend a membership in the case of inappropriate use of the card.
  5. The Hobart City Council reserves the right to alter or amend the condition of operation of the Hobart Advantage Card program, or terminate the program at any time.
  6. Becoming a member of the Hobart Advantage Card entitles you to a two year membership period from the date of joining.
  7. Members must re-sign every two years to remain in the program.
  8. The Hobart City Council, it officers, staff and contractors will accept no liability to the cardholder arising from any act or omission of any third party that may offer goods, services, discounts and/or benefits to the cardholder in connection or in association with the Hobart Advantage Card.
  9. Card membership is not available to interstate or international residents. However, a "visitor" card is available in the official Welcome to Hobart booklet, which is available from the Tasmanian Visitor and Information Centre; the Hobart City Council Centre; Information Booth - Elizabeth Street Mall, Hobart; Hobart International Airport and some tourist attractions and businesses throughout Hobart.
