The objective of the Safe Summer Campaign is to increase awareness and reduce harm resulting from risky behaviour through the sharing of information at key events during the summer period.  The Safe Summer Campaign has a message for everyone – for young children to remember being safe in the sun and in the car, for young people who may be learning to drive and learning about their sexuality, for all people in the community to remember to ‘BE’ safe over the summer.  This year the campaign was supported by 16 key organisations and services.  On behalf of the Safe Summer Working Group we would like to thank everyone for their support in the development and delivery of this campaign and we look forward to working towards the next Safe Summer Campaign.  If you would like more information about the campaigns or would like to become a future camapign partner then please don't hesitate to contact Community Development Officer, Jenny Newton on 6238 2100 or via email newtonj@hobartcity.com.au.
