Landscape Architect

$57,148 - $72,607 per annum

Located within Council’s City Services Division, and reporting to the Manager Architectural Projects, the Landscape Architect is responsible for the provision of professional landscape planning, design and project management services and the achievement of program and Unit objectives.
The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture, eligibility for membership in the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects and thorough knowledge and experience in the field, including:

  • proven skills in utilising CAD systems for design presentation & construction drawings, particularly AutoCad &/or VectaWorks project management
  • a sound understanding of horticulture and plant identification
  • demonstrable experience in the design, documentation and superintendence of parks and recreational spaces

An ability to communicate and negotiate effectively across the organisation and have an ability to design and design and present solutions to client briefs is essential.
