09-01203 77 Marlyn Rd, South Hobart Garage/Shed (Re-Advertised - Amended Design) 23 November 2009

Cameron Sherriff

ph: 62382742

Full Details

Description

The proposal seeks approval for a combined garage and storage shed to the southern side of the existing house on the property, set back from the front property boundary in line with the front wall of the existing house, and against the southern boundary of the property. This design is amended from a previously advertised proposal that included a carport forward of the garage. The carport has now been deleted from the proposal.

A small weatherboard shed will be demolished to make way for the new structure. The overall structure will have a gable roof clad in colorbond, with weatherboard cladding for the walls. The storage shed section at the rear is taller than the garage section which is stepped down, accounting for the slope of the site. The maximum height of the structure is 3.4m above natural ground level. A 2m high retaining wall is also proposed at the rear of the structure.
